3. Data Collection on This Website

Server Log Files

Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. These include: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, and time of the server request. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security and operational purposes.

Application Form (Tally)

When you click the application or signup buttons on this site, you are redirected to a form hosted by Tally Forms (Tally B.V., Belgium). Tally is loaded only after you click and is not embedded on chiaroscuro.club itself. The information you submit on the Tally form (name, email, your answers about your work) is processed by Tally on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your application. Email Contact

When you contact us by email at max@chiaroscuro.club, the information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up. We do not share this data without your consent. Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months unless a longer retention is required by law.

Cookies and Analytics

chiaroscuro.club does not set tracking cookies, does not use Google Analytics, and does not run any third-party analytics or session-recording tools. No cookie consent banner is shown because no consent-required cookies are set.

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Request deletion of your personal data (Article 17 GDPR)

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Server logs: 30 days. Tally form submissions: handled according to Tally's data processor terms and our application review process, typically up to 12 months. Email correspondence: up to 24 months unless a legal obligation requires longer.

6. Third-Party Services

Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted on Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). Vercel processes data in EU data centers (Frankfurt) for visitors in Europe and acts as our data processor under a data processing agreement. Vercel may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. See Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Tally Forms

Application forms are hosted by Tally B.V. (Antwerp, Belgium). Tally is only loaded when you click an application button and leave chiaroscuro.club. Tally acts as our data processor for application submissions.

Web Fonts

This site uses self-hosted web fonts (Space Grotesk, Space Mono, Fraunces, Caveat), served from the same domain as the rest of the site via Next.js automatic font optimization. No requests are made to external font servers such as Google Fonts.

7. Encryption

This site uses HTTPS (TLS) for all connections. Your browser encrypts data transmitted to and from this server. The TLS certificate is provided automatically by Let's Encrypt via Vercel.

8. Supervisory Authority

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority:
